Installing circulator to boiler

External circulator to supply water to boiler in residence. Its a smaller Taco pump , one of the options recomme ded in the install manual. I want to mount the pump in an orange pex line either a foot away from boiler vertically, or three feet away horizo tally. I am concerned about weight on the pex pipe, I think its too much weight. I can build supports but any ideas or comments are welcome

Use hard pipes or copper from the boiler to the pump location. That should be enough to hold the pump in place. Don't ever put a pump, or any other hydronic accessory like air scoops or flow check valves between 2 pieces of PEX tubing. It is not designed to support the weight of anything. You will surely see sagging and eventually develop a leak or even separation of the PEX from the fitting it is attached to, over time. Besides it looks so amateur and screams "I have no idea what the H*** I'm doing"

A pump to supply water to a boiler? Circulator pumps mainly circulate water in a closed loop system. What type of boiler is this? Any pictures?

Hot_rod: Rianni residence boiler, there is no circulator in the boiler cabinet, so install manual shows an external pump going into boiler. Water comes from a spaced-T to the boiler then back to a loop circulating throughout the house. I hope this makes sense now. I forgot the model number, I beleive it is 90k btu boiler, condensing type. We are replacing the Weil McClain boiler.

do the near boiler piping in hard pipe, either copper or black iron. the fittings for pex will be very expensive and it will look terrible.
