Baseboards barely warm
Hey everyone,
So it’s our first winter at a new to us house. Thermostat is set to 71F and wife is complaining that it is cold in the house. I touched all the baseboards and they were indeed luke warm. Now downstairs I checked the water heater, and the radiator temp is set to 180F and the tap is set to 120F. However, the gauge out of the water heater is only showing around 115. The radiators do not have valves upstairs to purge air. What else should I be looking at to make sure it is working properly. Some pictures attached.

Hello Alexrush,
I could be way wrong here, but if that is a Intergas SuperFlow I think that appliance is for heating Domestic Hot Water (sink, shower, laundry, etc.), it is not a boiler intended for heating water for a Baseboard heating system.

This is a condensing on-demand gas water heater. Here is the confusing first line from their promotional literature: "Superflow combines all the advantages of a condensing boiler and cylinder in one compact wall-hung unit. " Like 109A_5 implies, this is NOT the right unit for your purposes of heating and domestic hot water.

I would say it it is a combi boiler, it appears to have tappings for CH HEAT and DHW piping. If this is a in the moment picture it just doesn’t appear that the thermostat is calling for heat. No red light on the taco switching relay

The first thing to check is not whether the baseboards are warm, but is the thermostat calling for heat? And if it isn't, and someone feels cold, what happens if you turn up the thermostat?

probably not, but this was a flipper home so go figure

At that moment, the thermostat was up to temp. But I can take another photo when it’s getting asking for heat.

when it’s calling for heat, they get barely warm.

Verify the appliance, please post the actual Make and Model and Model numbers. If it is only for DHW, which I suspect it may be, it will never do what you think it should. Unless you live in a very mild climate.

it’s a combi boiler, with max temp for space heating being 194F.

From what I can see in the picture "RFLOW" that is not true. The SUPERFLOW is just a DHW heater as far as I can tell. Also as far as I can tell, none of the other INTERGAS model names for actual Combi boilers are even close to "RFLOW".
Actual Make and Model and Model numbers please.
