TACO Outdoor Air-Sensor: Wiring Help Needed
Trying to understand wiring on the PC700-2 Boiler Reset Control. But only for the Outdoor Air-Sensor (Taco 9300-2052). The outdoor Air-Senor has only two wires - red and white. Red wire was traced to the "Out" on the PC700-2 Boiler Reset Control. White wire is traced back to the "Common" on the PC700-2 Boiler Reset Control.
The outdoor air-sensor has two screw terminals. Both terminals are labeled the same ""S1".
How do I determine which colored wires goes to which terminal on the outdoor sensor?
Please see attached picture of the Outdoor Air-Sensor and the two terminals I am referring to.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It shouldn't matter. I think it's just a thermistor.

Thank you for the reply. I thought that as well. But when I wired it up. It shows the "OPn" Trouble Code.
See pics.
So I assume something is wrong.

connect the sensor right at the control. That will eliminate bad wiring

Cycle the power to the controller so that it will do a reboot and look for the sensors.
