I install so that drunken teenagers and drunken plumbers can't stomp out my fresh air inlets or Peck Vents, lavatory sink trim (especially in pubs) at 3 am. Mad Dog

How does that first vent work with the trap of condensate at the bottom?

This is from NJs code which says these are prohibited for the most part.
But I think it's because it's vented like any other trap.

I speak of the 90 ell at the bottom of the riser, won't it fill with water?
Picture before the last one.

Building traps are no longer required I think. Cleanout is good idea but I don't see them often. Usually sanitary drains are too deep to be accessible. I also line fresh air breather but I don't see them either. My opinion is that there can never be enough breathers. Codes require traps for A/C condensate regardless where pan drains to. These traps are troublemakers.

What is meant by fresh air breather?

It's a slang term..(Fresh Air Breather) I've never see that written in a Plumbing code. Mad Dog

In NJ code I believe they call them vent terminals.

Vent terminals are T.T.R (Through the Roof). The Vent just upstream of the Bldg house trap is the F.A.I.(Fresh air inlet). Mad Dog
