                    Clearly I don’t know about the mechanics of radiant heaters. Basically, just wondering what this is and if it should be cleaned. I’ve had so much maintenance on the radiant heater in my garage. I don’t want to call anyone if it’s not necessary.  Thank you

            Looks like a condensate trap, and it should be cleaned out. Some dirt is normal.Br. Jamie, osb
