Triangle tube cardinal question

For anyone that's installed a cardinal.
There is a factory installed thermowell for the boiler's heat sensor.
The well seems to be installed with sealant and tightened.
Instructions say to seal and torque to spec.
Before I take it out and reinstall....
Is it already properly sealed and installed.

I have never seen a residential tank that does not come with a factory installed well. If it looks good, it probably is. Good to see that Triangle Tube is making an alternate to the undrainable tank-in-tank design."If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"
