How to diable and shut off a Zone Damper

I have trol-a-temp Mastertrol Mark V model MABS-V-3, three zone system. I like to disconnect power to one zone (Zone 1) and shut off the damper manually (since this zone is for future unfinished space) ... How do I do that?

    Cut and cap 1 wire!

    If the damper is normally closed (damper closed with the thermostat not calling) just disconnect and cap one of the motor wires
