Float vent for an old steam system

Hi,
We're having a hard time finding a replacement for this old Trane and Co float vent installed at the end of the line on a steam system.

It's a Trane and Co. Float Vent model number 1010-1.

Saw a post about this recently but wasn't able to find it again today.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

A vent is, pretty much, a vent. Which means that you can replace it with a modern vent -- such as a Gorton #2. In that location you may have to get a bit creative with a couple of nipples and elbows to get it on.

Are you sure it's not working?

A Gorton #2 is pretty big, might need something shorter in that location.

You can also build a header and use multiple smaller vents if a big one won't fit

Thanks for your replies. That gives me some things to consider. I'm brand new to steam heat.
    Appreciate it.
