End of Main Venting

Does anyone have some advice, Pro or Con, regarding an end of Main Vent Antler I dry fit together adjacent to the last Radiator stub up. There is minimal distance to install this pair of Gorton #1s due to the foundation wall. I sized up the vents and it is a good match for the 2 inch main.

@PoponPachaug , post some pics if you can. I think I know what you're getting at, but pics always help.

Elbows and Street Elbows are your friends. Sounds like quite an investment. How long is that main?

Gentlemen, please forgive me for not posting pictures and answering your questions.
My phone is not forwarding pics so please be patient with new me awaiting to upload pictures as soon as I can.

The 1 1/2" main is 14 ft and previous to that, there is a 2" main of 23 ft

That is very short main, which is good, but you only need a single Gorton #1 or Maid O Mist #1 for that 2" main and your short 1-1/2" main is barely more than a 2nd floor radiator runout but of course a #1 won't hurt it.

I don't think you need an antler but it won't hurt.

I also can't tell exactly what you are asking though.

Don't go nuts with this. Unless the boiler's way oversized a Gorton #1 on each main would be fine.

The 23 ft of 2" main and the 14 ft of 1 1/2" main is the sole main to that point of end of main vent antler.
I finally got to upload a picture, take a look and please advise of any issues you may see.

Way more venting than you need but looks fine to me.

Is that main with the two Gorton #1 vents the only main in the system?

No, there is another similar 2" main and I installed a pair of Gorton #1 vents near the end of the dry return.

If the steam reaches the ends of both mains at about the same time, and the trip down the mains takes a minute or two, you're good.

A minute or two if the mains are hot already, right?

Depends. With enough venting some will only take that long when cold.
