I often wonder how many deaths in retirement homes are caused by this and assumed to be pneumonia. One would think that in 46 years this highly preventable disease would be under control. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legionnaires'_disease

Why I keep my water tank at 140. It's easy to mix it down to a cooler temperature if need be.

better than 140* is 160* . Mixing valves are installed on all of our systems . Even systems without heating or cooling . I kinda wish DOE would cease telling people to store at or keep their water heaters at 120* .

With my mom having been in a nursing home for a month or so i have little doubt that there are many deaths of many causes in nursing homes that were preventable that are reported as various natural causes.
