Where to place expansion tank when using buffer and multiple circs ?

Circs in; Boiler, Air Handler, and In-floor.
Depending on whats going on..
All 3 circs could be running, or
Only the AH and Boiler circs, or
Only the In-Floor and Boiler circs, or
Just the In-Floor circ.

    Since there is a circ in the boiler the best place would be on the return going back to the boiler off the buffer tank.

    I always like to be sure the circs with the highest pressure delta are addressed first. Radiant loops and water tube boilers are loops that meet that description.
    In your case, the buffer tank looks like the place. As long as everything is generously sized, it probably does not matter where on the tank.
