Convert to NG BTU calculation

in Gas Heating
Hello,

I have natural gas in the house already but only for my dryer and oven. I want to convert my boiler from oil to gas.

My NG provider requires a form to be filled out labeling all the MBH used by my current appliances, and the MBH I'm going to add, to make sure they are supplying me enough from the street.

Boiler I'm guessing I need the DOE rating? (114)
Dryer (20)
Gas range .....

This is where I'm not sure. I see BTU ratings for each burner, the broiler element, and bake element. Add all these up? (Take highest of bake/broil since you can't do both at once?)

    Yes, that's basically the approach. For the boiler, it would be the gross input rating that you want.

    Gas ranges are usually figured at 50,000 and dryers are 35000 + your boiler input.

    Those # are for a standard stove and dryer

    A few google searches are telling me a gas dryer should be between 20-25k

    The I&O manual will have the exact input for your model. If you don't know for sure I would use the numbers Ed is suggesting.
