The Rheem Marathon is a completely plastic tank resistive electric water heater. I ran toward it. Does an indirect tank have different requirements than a resistive water heater? (honest question--I have no idea)

Plastic lined or plastic tanks? i would have concerns with leakage with a tank that was just lined steel.0

Hi @mattmia2 , The Marathon is a fiberglass tank with a polybutylene liner last I knew. Originally, it was an independent company, but Rheem acquired it, so there is a good chance its lifetime warranty will be honored.
