control

Can someone tell me what this controls purpose is. It was connected at one point to a steam boiler that now is using a tekmar 264 control for a single stage steam boiler. Since it is a commercial building i assume this is why there using it for outdoor setpoint since they have a separate water heater.

Well, I see a time clock with 'building warm' & 'night setback' pointers, a mode switch with (presumably) 'A', 'B', 'C' (time clock), & 'D'; 'heating period' (on-time duration a la anticipator?); 'hold fire' (off time?); & what can only be a temperature sensor of some kind. Night setback, not outdoor reset.

Save it. While you can't adjust it with your phone, it almost certainly still works...

That's a VERY old boiler cycling control for a coal-fired boiler. The "Hold Fire/Refueler" function operated the coal stoker just long enough so that coal would be added to sustain the fire during mild weather.

    You say they're using a Tekmar 264 now? Sure it's not a 269?

    Definitely a 264.
Thanks for the information. The first that I have seen in Wisconsin.
