Have any of you had dealings with or problems with
homeowner funding.org out of Scranton. pa as part of Borrel construction.
They came by and looked at our windows and gave us an estimate for replacing 11 of them and I did not get any warm fuzzies as he said he was not going to write down the specs and measure if you want me to go through the 3 day rule to cancel a contract.
I still have 2 days to cancel and I am very apprehensive about it.

Everything about this sounds sketchy and like they are trying to pressure you in to doing something.

We're CONtractors with emphasis on the CON. Don't be rushed. There is always time to do it later if it is a benefit for you and the contractor. Being rushed is a red flag. The fact that you're posting here is evidence that you're not comfortable.

Worse yet -- they probably don't need replacing, unless they are newer cheapies to begin with -- which is likely what you'd be getting.

    Run away.

Hi, Cancel them!!! Very unprofessional. I'd look up their license with your state licensing board and check with BBB and search them on the web to see what their reputation looks like.

    Yours, Larry

ps. I'd be getting three bids also, if this is a job you want to do. With luck, another contractor will be a bit warmer and fuzzier o:)
