I had to order one of these. They have tees, sweatshirts, aprons available.

We need a hydronics version!

And not all people realize that all those electrical terms refer to "Dead Men".

Dead Men paved the way for all the trades. Mr. Volta, Mr.Ampère, and Mr. Ohm. The Italians, French, and Germans.

or that there are thermodynamic equivalents of those

That's what we need to come up with!

Ok. I’ll bite. Volt is pressure. Ohm is friction and amp is flow... or something like that :p

Yup. Pressure, flow, Head loss. Then you have temperature drop/rise.

Would be better done with minions i thumbnails.

High pressure to low pressure; hot to cold, path of least resistance, vena contracta, WRT, etc.

High pressure to low pressure; hot to cold, path of least resistance, vena contracta, WRT, etc.

Except that electrons flows - to +.

Also current will more often than not take every path, not just the lowest resistance.

Single pipe quasi-vapor system. Typical operating pressure 0.14 - 0.43 oz. EcoSteam ES-20 Advanced Control for Residential Steam boilers. Rectorseal Steamaster water treatment

I for one miss my old "Carpe Hydronicom" tee shirt.
Any one else remember those shirts.

We've got some shirts here and may get working on some new ones: https://teespring.com/stores/heatinghelpcom-store

Fluids and heat will take every path proportionally exactly the same way electricity will...

In fact usually they teach all engineers either basic circuits or thermodynamics at most universities to teach them the theory of how to solve that type of problem in all sorts of applications.

My kids got this for me a few years ago.
Maybe good for some ideas for hydronics?

Yes, I really am an electrician.

Not exactly. Electrons tend to flow at the surface of a piece of wire instead of going through the center.

    That's pretty much AC only.

Also, more the abstract idea of a schematic more than the specific physics of it in the components. Just the idea that electricity follows the path of least resistance is wrong. It follows all paths in proportion.

Can you imagine if it was true? Only the building with the highest load "lowest resistance" would get power from the grid. All others would get nothing.
