Propane TT PS 60 E02

About 2 months ago my TT PS60 started having hard lockout on E02, not lighting. I pulled the ignitor and went ahead and serviced the boiler. The ignitor looked fine but I cleaned the electrodes with a fine file anyway. In the last couple days it's doing it again I haven't pulled the ignitor yet and I've went ahead and ordered a new ignitor. I didn't have a combustion test done yet. I installed this boiler about 2012 and never had any problems with it. Does anyone have any suggestions. Also when I reset it it will try to lite once and then always on the 2nd try it fires fine.

You should only use a dollar bill to clean the electrodes.

Without first establishing that the combustion numbers are correct, it's a guessing game after that, not a diagnosis.

Have you checked to make sure the condensate line is clear including the collector at the bottom of the heat exchanger?

Well the problem is back. I had combustion check done every thing is in spec, checked the propane press 9-10"WC good, replaced igniter ran fine for about 3-4 weeks now it's tripping about once a day. Any other suggestions? Thanks

What were the combustion numbers? High and low?

    Operating gas pressure?
Have you cleaned the burner side of the H/E?
How is the light off? rough? delayed?
How does the venturi look? any black dust inside?

Any follow up from original poster on this? I have a TT PS60 and remain interested.

Check all of your electrical connections, particularly the ground. It must be solid all the way from the burner back to the electric panel.
