Rheem Propane Gas Furnace burners do not light cold air comes out of vents
We have a Rheem furnace that runs on propane. It is aprox 11 years old. Three weeks ago had a full tank of propane delivered. I told the tech we weren't getting heat, He checked that only two of the burners were lit. He cleaned them and all 4 were lit and we had heat. A week later PG&E turned everyone's power off in California for 5 days. Now only the first burner lites then turns off right away.
My husband is an electrician and we are trying to diagnose the problem. My questions are: Would a power outage cause problems for a propane furnace?
Are diognostic codes universal our heater doesn't have the codes on the door.
Our air filter has never been changed ...could this be the cause?
Flame sensor dirty?
We are retired and don't have a lot of money to have someone fix it unless necessary. Hopefully, it will be an easy fix.
