Hot to circulator pump, cold after. Replace pump or something else?

Hi there, curious if it could be something else or replace pump? If replace easy to do on own? Drain system?

    Could very well be the pump(s). They are not supposed to be mounted like that. They must be mounted with the motor horizontal. The bearings are water lubricated and they'll become dry by air being trapped at the top when mounted vertically (shaft up). If mounted shaft down, debris and sediment will ruin the bearings.

    They gotta be horizontal.

    Actually that's allowed if over 20#'s operating pressure but it is frowned upon.

    Is there enough pressure in the system, typically 12 psi, and does the line possibly have air in it?

    And Taco is the only one that allows it under those conditions.
