That is something that should never be done let alone a major network show promoting it and encouraging people to do so.

Really!!!? this is SOOOOOO irresponsible of the network, I hope they are getting some major kickback or this, so much liability, I bet the lawyers are having a fit right about now.

The lawyers probably don’t even know that you shouldn’t do that lol.

Where does the oven heat go if you keep the door shut?

@ratio it hopefully it has a vent hood which allows the products of combustion and heat to escape out the range hood. If not then it goes into the living space and they better have CO detectors. Ovens are one of the major producers of CO in space were folks live. Most other appliances are not directly located in the living space. I have seen ovens produce 2500 PPM of CO.

If it’s is. I’m not seeing anything about recommending to use the oven to heat the space. They say don’t.

Might be talking about electric ovens, but even then ovens aren't designed for continuous use.

Me, too. I hope the network has errors/omissions insurance- they'll need it.

@Gordy it was Al Roker and the other co-hosts that mentioned on yesterdays (Tuesday) morning TODAY Show. They should read there own recommendations.

Could be a teachable moment for a pro like Tim to reach out to them and get them straightened out :)
