I have a contractor friend who has an elderly father-in-law in this town that needs a new boiler. Any of you work this area or know of someone who does?

    It's a good 3 hour drive, I wonder if @Ironman or @Steamhead (off the top of my head) are any closer?

    Rich was willing to drive two hours and take a one hour ferry ride to do the work. Thanks for the great offer, Rich. We had a good long talk on the phone and it was nice to connect.

    See, Steamhead: You can fix stupid. Actually, it has nothing to do with stupid in this case. Ninety year old father, 4,000 miles away with winter approaching, knowing nothing about heating, no radiant contractors in the area.
