I doubt it needs a separate trap. You might want to check with the manufacturer. But whatever you do, don't p**s off the plumbing inspector

Just like with a water closet, the internal trap is all that's required.
You'll need a urinal flange, gasket and bolts to connect it to the waste line.Bob Boan
