Any suggestions for a replacement for a Nesbitt model # 572 NR 8A hydronic cabinet heater coil? 4' x 8" x 4" (finned area, hairpins & headers not included) coil, 8 pass, ¾" tappings. From a parochial school, c. 1970-1980.

Are you looking to replace the coil in the existing cab heater or replace the entire unit.

American Air Filter I think bought Nesbitt you can google and find a rep.

If you replace the entire unit Majic Air may have a close match.

If you just need a coil for the old unit and coil mfg can make a replacement. depends on your time frame what you want to do.

Google: Nation wide coils or The coil company are examples

Thanks, I'll look into them. Ideally I'd just replace the coil, the customer really can't afford to replace the whole unit.

I'll check into getting one manufactured too, but that sounds expensive.

How many leaks? Is it possible to solder?
Many coils that old had enough material to solder holes shut.

Hi: I would give this Company a call. Dalsco HVAC Sales 166 Ridgedale Ave, Morristown NJ 07960. This Company is a Nesbit Dealer. Good Luck!

    Here's what I've got now...

I seem to still have a leak under the steel bracket. I'm going to try and cut down to it, but it's getting pretty comical

@ ratio, if you call a coil co and give them:

    Fins/inch
    pipe connection sizes
    length
    width
    thickness
size (diameter) and number of tubes etc

They should have enough information to give you a quote

Looks like that thing can't take much more patching
