The Last Hurrah

Paul Pollets

Finished up my last boiler project today on Vashon Island. The wrenches and myself are going into retirement. I'll be working part time as a trainer and mentor to apprentices for another well-established hydronic company in Seattle. Hope to have the time to return to my musical roots and interests that don't include business and boilers. 47 years in the pipe trades. More if I count the years working as a kid in my father's supply house.

Wow, sorry to hear you're departing, but glad to know you'll be passing on your knowledge to the new guys.

Best wishes to you in your golden years.

Please post something occasionally so we know how you're doing.

Good Luck Paul. One of the nice things about our trade is future generations will look at our projects and say, "Wow"

Paul, you cared. You really did. That’s what I’ll remember most. Your Dad would be proud.

You leave a legacy of top notch installation. Now pass that skill and desire on to others that you tutor. Have fun with the next chapter.
