I hope someone can assist. I have a very old boiler which used to burn oil but was converted to gas. It has an Economite E-20 gas conversion motor that was installed long ago. It broke! I am able to get a new Economite E 20 motor but can't find a motor bracket that fits perfectly. The ones we have found seem to sit too high. There are nuts and bolts on top of the E-20. Are those supposed to be removed? I don't understand why the parts don't fit. Help please.

The E20 is not my favorite burner. Most installations of this burner that I've encountered were not done properly- lots of flame impingement, poor combustion etc.

What make and model is the boiler?

Time for an upgrade, if the boiler doesn't have a steel chamber.
