Insulate my loop seal?

Quick question about my recently replaced loop seal. Single Pipe system with dry return. I have insulated both the supplies and the return. But, should I insulate the loop seal as well or leave it bare?

    up to you. It's going to be full of water all the time so insulation probably won't save much fuel....but every little bit helps

    plus hot water is better than cold

    The water in the loop seal will get up to 212 F or so and will cool down very slowly, so it is giving off heat alot longer than a steam line. I have used the condensate return off steam pipes to help heat basements, so I'd insulate it.
