First day piping the KHN's

And it's the first time I've ever used this model. I really like it so far; well thought out.

Anyone else been using them?

Yesterday, I had to build a 14' wide and 10' high wall so I'd have a decent place for the near boiler piping. Behind the new wall is a 125 year old stone wall.

Thanks for the input. The WHN's are awesome. I've installed plenty of those and never had issues, not even with LP. I owe that to Ironman. He gave me some really helpful tips on how to dial in the LP units.
You can't see it but theres a 4" offset in the wall(s) I built so it looks a little funky. There's actually 45*s there but you can't see them in the picture.
We're having a heckuva time pulling the plugs on the radiators. Or, I should say Tim is. I haven't jumped in yet because I've been in the boiler room, but it probably won't be any easier for me.

Looks great, as usual. I see you still haven't gone PP yet?

Be very careful on the gas hookup that you don't stress the pipe. If you look at where the assembly ties in to the intake manifold, you will see it is a very weak casting spot. I put in an 085 a couple of weeks ago and could not get it to light. Finally noticed a crack on the intake that was sucking in air. Appears to be from factory(????).
The intake manifold needs to be beefed up where the gas line hooks to it. Apparently, there have been a couple other ones around here do the same thing.
I still have not been able to get back to really watch it much, but so far it is a nice unit.
P.s. The front display needs to have a different "faceplate" on it as part of the display is hidden behind the graphics.

@ironman - Great to hear from you, Bob. No PP. Something is stopping from making the jump even though I keep saying I'm going to. Maybe on the next church? That one is 3" pipe.

What's that plug for on the iso valve above the circ? Haven't seen that before.

@Ironman - That is a Jomar filter ball valve. You close the valve, remove the plug, and the screen spins with the valve. It is right there to clean out. No water lost. I love them.

@Paul S - No TRV's on this one. Just one big Sanctuary zone and then a lower level zone.

Stephen, you'll want to get those fernco reducing couplings on the vertical section of the intake pipe: they'll trap water if there's condensation in the intake.
