Positioning of circuit setter

Does it matter what position a circuit setter is installed in on a 2" or 3" pipe? I mean handle up, down, sideways? Im hearing differing stories. Thanks.

    Find the installation manual or tech sheet online. The Caleffi Quicksetter can be installed in any position, but I can't speak for others.

    Nice, and I agree. But does this apply to all brands/styles of circut setters?

    you would need to check the manufacturer in question..each one is different...
