Slant/Fin Concept 21 boiler and purge problem

I have a Slant/Fin Concept 21 boiler installed in 2003 and regularly maintained. It has shut off with a flashing red LED indicating a problem with purge. There is also water leaking from near a valve atop the hot water tank; I hand-tightened this and the leak appears to have stopped. The user guide does not indicate how to troubleshoot this. Any advice?

Could be a bad inducer motor or something blocking the intake and or vent pipe.0

Intake vent is clear.0

The only manual I have is 4 pages long. Do you have a link to a more thorough one?0

Slant/Fin has two IOMs for the Concept 21 boilers. One is for the original control board where there is a clear plastic cover over the main control board. The other uses a control made by United Technologies. The error messages are different for each board. Please let Slant/Fin know which control your boiler has and we will send the correct IOM, we can email a pdf file copy.
Call 1 800 873 4346 and speak with someone in technical services.
We can also walk you thru the trouble shooting process.
Thank you,
