I need to replace the door leading to my boiler closet. Need to know the amount of surface that the vent needs to cover. Door would be 30 x 80".

Is this a fire code door? Does it have fusible links on the openings designed to melt in the event of fire. I am going to assume two openings one at the top one at the bottom. Is that correct?

Does the door to the boiler closet communicate with another room and if so how large is the room. The concern is having adequate air for combustion.
