Steam Radiator

in Strictly Steam
We have a steam radiator which is only heating on the supply vavle side. Any suggestions how to proceed next?

    is this on a short run?  Long run?  Are other radiators hot all the way across?  Valve fully open?  Condition of trap (if any)?



    Presumably two pipe, since you reference "supply valve side"?

    Steam Radiator/More Info

    Jamie, we have a Weil-Mclain LGB-8; series 2, 910,00 Btu input steam boiler with a Hoffman differential loop, #15 Hoffman vacuum valve & a series 61 low water cut-off. It is a short run, the radiators on the way are hot, the valve appears fully open and we have not investigated the trap yet. It is a two-pipe system.
