economizer???

hey everyone. im having trouble with a york packaged unit with a w7212 honeywell economizer. i have been to this job twice for no heat. upon arrival i found the heat running normal, but also find the economizer in the fully open position. i disconnect the plug and reconnect it and it closes, then come back to find it open. if im not mistaken i thought the economizer only opens on a call for a/c, depending on the enthalpy control am i missing something???

    The best thing

    for you to do is go to www.customer.honeywell.com and plug in the W 7212 and there is a wealth of information there on how it can be used and also how to set up and troubleshoot. Just too much information to post here.

    Economizer

    A economizer in commercial buildings is used in the winter for fresh air return. It isn't setup right, have had these issues before. Contact Honeywell, there very helpful.
