What amp draw should I have on a Q3400a 1081 when it is trying to light? It's at .9 to1.0 now.  Peerless boiler running LP Thanks

    It is actually better

    to take a resistance reading on that Smart Valve Ignitor, it should be about 2 to 5 ohms and anything over 10 should be replaced. Also if you are having problems a microamp reading should be taken, depending on whether it is Generation I (knob on top of valve) microamps should be no less than .3 if it is Generation II (switch on top of the valve) it should be 1.3 microamps.
