PressureTrol with dirty pigtail

I removed the pressuretrol and pig tail (with the boiler off) and found the pig tail was clogged.

Should I be concerned about the pressuretrol being damaged or clogged?

Nope. Never seen a pressuretrol damaged because the pigtail was plugged. The replacement pigtail should be brass, so it won't rust shut.

The black pipe pigtails can be cleaned out, but you are probably better off with brass.
