Hi all,
Below are 2 photos of a pipe leading into a T above my boiler. Is this some sort of union where the pipe on the left meets up with the T?? (Ignore the white circle - it's just a light bulb in the basement.)

it looks like a reducing bushing. I don’t think it is a union?
