So I have been buying John Wood tanks, and I really like them. https://johnwood.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/JSTR.pdf

But I need 2- 400 gallon tanks, and Im limited on height. 3-300 wouldn't be good but Im limited on space. Anyone know of any other big steel tank manufacturers that would ship to VT, and have perhaps a 400 that is a little bigger in diameter, making it a little shorter?

Contact the Modutank people in Long Island city, New York.

The sell tanks of all sizes that will be disassembled and you put them together

and install a liner and a cover, I do not know if they offer insulation kits.

Amtrol goes to around 1000 gallons.

Do you need an ASME tank? My understanding is if your under 30psi (relief valve) you do not need ASME.

We needed a tank in a hurry once and used an air compressor tank. The tapings were not optimal, but we used double tapped bushings to reach across the tank.

I agree Highland would be a source.

There used to be hundreds of tank manufacturers but with the decline in oil many are gone.

I dont need to be insulated. I dont NEED ASME, but this is for wood boiler storage so it's nice because it's so big and typically entombed to not worry about having leaks later on. Not that it never happens but ASME typically are less prone. My ceiling is 94" and im very tight on space, so I need a tank that is 90" or so.

If you are looking for pressurized storage the modutank will not work.

The folks from Quick tanks make galvanized hydro pneumatic tanks up to 900 gallons in size

Manchester Tank builds tanks for LP and compressed air. They have vertical tanks under 90"., here is a 240 G. probably an expensive tank.

Can you mount a horizontal tank? Plenty of 300 and 500 LP tanks around>https://mantank.com/products/

Dollar for dollar very difficult to beat the John Wood Company. They make great tanks, and at the right price. I guess we will have to try to figure out a different location at his house!

    Thanks for the help

I saw those but I want the tanks to run at 180, and if I read it right, they only go up to 140
