I agree. I imagine maybe the bean counters in a company may say something like, hey! our sales are actually up…..don't fix anything! I'm sure the engineers would be saying……..but not for long! Of course, I'm just speculating.

It's interesting that someone here has copied my original post on these Varivalves from years ago and put his name to it.
The valves can be repaired by placing a light spring under the plunger, which will hold it up in place against the sylphon bellows. This can be done either through the nipple or by removing the nipple. The plunger isn't actually glued; it's press fit into a ridge formed in the bellows. When the bellows expand, the ridge deforms and spits out the plunger, which then falls on the seat.And yes, Heattimer Corp won't even reply to a customer who bought hundreds of these valves.
