Steam help - Bennington VT

Options

Hello,

I have a house built in 1899, two story, 9 ft ceilings, 9 tall radiators of varying size, and an older Net Yorker boiler… and no main vents lol.
i need help replacing the boiler. I’ve had some folks over, but they want to leave the main as-is. I would prefer to work with someone who is open to evaluating and redesigning the main as well.

Can anyone help me find someone who would work in Bennington VT?

How exactly would you like to Redesign the main?

Your main might be fine and likely is if it hasn't been "modified". The addition of vent shouldn't require a redesign. Your near boiler piping is another story. Can you post some pictures?

@VToldHouse What redesign are you looking for? How would you like the design to operate?

Vermonter....Yours sound like my 1899-1900 Long Island Farmhouse. I consult in your area and have Fambly in Bennington if you need some guidance. Mad Dog

Bennington. Did a lot of work at Eveready Battery years ago. Steam people in that area are scarse.

The Blue Bonnett diner was the best, but I know the owner passed away. FW Webb in Bennington is horrible for steam stuff.

Nice town I spent a lot of time there.

I imagine Woodford Mountain Rt 9 will be closed when the storm hits.
