Wireless thermostats

Options

I’ve several jobs where during construction the thermostat wires were sheetrocked over or has been damaged. I’d like to use a thermostat that is wireless to control zone valves. Everything I’ve seen only mentions air dampers and HVAC. Is there something out there that I can use?

Thank you

Honeywell Red Link will work, but you have to use the kit with the receiving panel.

    Try https://iohvaccontrols.com/category/residential/specialty-controls/wireless-solutions/ .

If the wire is just buried in the wall, I'll often use my hammersaw to find it. If I'm feeling generous, I'll locate it with a toner first.

The valve vs damper thing bears looking in to. Compare the VA rating of the valve with the rating of the relay you're using, make sure you exceed it by some margin. If not, a RIBU1C (or other) interposing relay will take care of it. Switching a line-voltage load will take a beefier relay, RIB (functionaldevices.com) will have something suitable.
