Climate Master Replace ?
My 26 year old Climate Master might be done. Found some R-22 as system is low. 60 PSI. Hoping some freon will get me through winter. If not ,then what ?? I have a non-pressurized flow center which was just replaced because it was leaking. I know Climate Master is probably not as good as it once was. But, I did get 26 years with a compressor replaced 12 years ago. Is Water Furnace my best bet ? Live in North East Ohio 1500 square feet 3.5 ton Climate Master Tranquility from 1999. And do I just stay with the non pressurized flow center, since it is new?

I think Water Furnace is good quality. Others will comment.
not sure what you are referring to as a "flow center".
If you find the freon leak it might be fixable although no one (in this day and age) will want to try that. It could be leaking into the water as well

Climate Master still makes good geo equipment imo. You have an external valve for the water with a flow switch, or end switch to make Y for the compressor? The newer CM systems have internal water valves.

Agree with pecmsg, find that leak.
Isolate the pipe-in-pipe heat exchanger and make sure the water pressure in that isn't communicating with refer pressure.
You may check in that low pressure flow center for refrigerant oil on the water surface and with a refer sniffer/tester.
Check the air coil and piping for evidence of refrigerant oil stains, and the coil condensate tray for oils while using a good refrigerant sniff tester on all exposed refrigerant piping.

I have to disagree with this. We just threw away twelve Climate Master geos and replaced with Tranes. The coils leaked refrigerant and the lead times for new ones were two months. They were only five years old. We will have to wait five years to see if the Tranes are any better.
