Sound proof radiator suggestions?

Hello!
I have a one pipe steam radiator, with air vents that have loud hammer banging pipes especially at night. The landlord isn’t fixing them and I have pitched them to drain better and it’s not helping. Wondering if anyone can suggest what to use to sound proof/at least dampen the hammering sound (if at all possible, due to everything getting so hot!) Even a small amount softer would be amazing. Thank you in advance!!

The problem is likely in the piping or the boiler controls, and if you can't get the landlord to help… yeah, look for another apartment.
