@johnjohn89 Are you a DIY guy looking for the basics or are you a pro studying for a masters test?

Thanks to all the masters! I bought some books plus 2021 National Standard Plumbing Code Illustrated

The illustrated code book editions go into a better description of what the various codes are actually asking for.
Unless you have plumbing basics the code books leave more answers than questions. The ones Ihave used had red text explaining the interpretations that the inspectors tend to look for.

What the guys are asking is:
Is this for general, DIY projects in your home? Or are you looking to break in the trade? Plumbing is only fully absorbed by physical hands ✋️ on installations and repair. You can read & talk about boxing until the Cows come home, but you don't learn the "Sweet Science" until you lace the gloves on and bang in the ring.

@Alan (California Radiant) Forbes found Pete's first book. Here's another, more current one. 😎

If you want to read about hydronic heating. "Zoning made easy" is great. I have used it and passed it out to my students back when I was teaching Voc. Ed. Authored by none other than our @DanHolohan (uncredited.)
Wanting to learn? You can also look at the books offered on this website. They are all fantastic and written in a not-too-technical style.

On a lighter note:
"Disgusting, hilarious, and scary..." –Chicago Tribune
"Stories from plumbers that will make you smile, giggle, and laugh out loud." –Arizona News Independent
They come into our homes. They see us in our most fragile moments. Plumbers
are a fixture in our lives. When a toilet clogs, a faucet leaks, or a
sewer line plugs, we call those unsung heroes, desperately seeking help.
They scoop out our poop and pull underwear, toothbrushes and cotton
balls out of our toilets, doing whatever it takes to get the job done.On a late Wednesday evening, after my toilet clogged, I asked our plumber
to share his top five “greatest hits.” The stories were so hilarious, I
had to share them with the world. The Poop Diaries features true stories told by my plumber, and many other plumbers, about the most memorable service jobs they have worked on and most
unique people they have helped. Whether it’s nudity, rats, fake vaginas,
dildos, snakes, weapons and so much more, these plumbers have seen and
smelled it all.————————————————"Customers find the book entertaining and a real page-turner. They
also find the stories interesting and eye-opening. Readers describe the
book as informative, eye-catching, and inspiring. However, some find the
dialogue stilted and robotic. Opinions are mixed on the writing style,
with some finding it readable and great, while others say it's stilted."A bit of a put-on. Some of the stories seem contrived, unlikely, or poorly told.
