    GHSP => German Shorthaired Pointer?

Took me a bit, couldn’t see how Ground Sourced Heat Pump fit the context! :D

Edit: I see @Mad Dog_2 posted a couple pictures so mystery solved!

Now? or what did I do when I was a younger man?

Now -- playing my piano (mostly Chopin). Walking around the grounds. Fixing machinery which doesn't run as it should. Fixing odd bits of elderly carpentry. And a lot of sitting on a bench or in a rocking chair, thinking about this and that... does work on my next sermon count? Does for me... not really work.

Then -- drives in the country, going flying, helping my daughter with her horse (three day event), helping my son when he needed help, which wasn't often. And all of the above.

Ediit: she just reminded, firmly. Playing with my cat...

Pictures loaded out of order, and I don’t feel like fixing it. Lol

I like to go crabbing on the Chesapeake bay.
I enjoy woodworking. These are the attic steps in my daughter’s room that I’m remodeling.
Even though it’s a bit stressful, I enjoy working with out school marching band (all three kids are in it). This is me posing with some carts I made last year.

At the end of the day, I sometimes just like chilling on the porch with a beer, my wife, and some nice conversation.

Used to smoke -- pretty heavily. And I loved the smell of the pipe, and a good cigar. But... mild COPD. So I stopped -- now I use a nicotine vape (and have for about 10 years). Not quite the same, but I at least get the nicotine...

And since you guys put up toys...

Mountain biking with my friends on Saturdays - taken earlier today. Enjoying the outdoors is essential for a healthy mind and body.

    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

Yes -- or more accurately, my daughter's. He's gone along now (at age 33), but he was a marvelous cross-country competitor-- very fast, fearless, and spot on accurate with his jumping. Pretty good at dressage, too. Show jumping... um. Not so much. He had the long powerful stride of his grandsire (Secretariat) and that just didn't fit in the show jumping ring!

And the general personality of a friendly St. Bernard...

He was the nicest horse to work with we've ever had... or are likely to have. And what a joy to ride!

But -- he wouldn't abide a starting gate. Nope. No way.
