Need to replace a 30 year old Payne 115,000 BTU furnace. I only need heat, no A/C. Which brands should I consider? Would like two stage with ECM and high efficient heating. Mounting horizontal.

Trane/Amer.Std uses stainless steel in both primary and secondary heat exchangers.

However, the installer is 95% of the equation, not the brand.

I’d figure out the heat loss first. How much gas do you use per year?

Do NOT replace like size for like size. Get a actual heat loss performed.
