Circulating orientation + air leak during pressure test questions

Are these pumps orientated correctly? It’s hard to tell exactly from the diagram in the paperwork. Also the gaskets on either side of one of the pumps was leaking air around 50 psi tightened them some more then around 60 they were leaking again anyone have experience with these I think I over tightened now as they were continuing to leak air. The systems only going to be at 12 psi and maybe water will be fine I could isolate them and test rest of piping anyway any advice is appreciated thanks.

The leaking gasket problem may be from misalignment of the pipes. Gaskets are meant to seal, and usually won't tolerate any significant angular misalignment.Br. Jamie, osb

you need to use the Grundfos gaskets with those iso valves, any other type or combination will often leak
30 psi test should be plenty?Bob "hot rod" Rohr

The flow is going left to right. Not sure if the pumps should be mounted upside down check the install sheet.0

You should use the rubber ring gaskets that come with the circulator. they never leak. And will last far longer
spin circulators 90 degrees for proper orientation.0 -
The ring gaskets will not work with those flanges. Needs to be flat gaskets with no larger than a 1” hole or gaskets miss the sealing surface on the valve. The gaskets that come with those valves fit perfectlyBob "hot rod" Rohr

Sorry guys thanks , turns out I’m an idiot I few minutes after I posted this it clicked. I installed both gaskets I took the rings out and it worked perfectly I think I have the correct pump orientation now I spun the pumps up so the junction box is facing up.
