I found a really good one on Amazon, it even has other ranges, all the way down to 0-15 inches of water column, let me get the link:

It also has zeroing and it's a good price

I always liked a combination gauge to show vacuum also. Nothing like that seems to exist in the range 0-3 PSI, I think 0-15 PSI with vacuum was the lowest range i ever found.

    Cheap 0-3PSI made in China:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H9ZWLZG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Seems to be accurate, can be rezeroed. You want to protect it with a shut off valve before it.

Top of the line American made:
    https://dwyer-inst.com/en/series-magnehelic-2000.html

Scroll down to 2203 for 0-3PSI, the more accurate (more divisions on the pressure scale) 0-2 and 0-1 PSI gauges are 2202 and 2201.

Basically bulletproof pressure wise because these gauges will take 15psi before failing.

They don’t even fail. They have a pop off plug that goes first.

you can get them NOS or used on eBay for $20 sometimes

Interesting but the Dwyers have a max temp of 140°f on the cover.   Assuming not good for measuring steam?

I always put a valve on anyway and leave it turned off. I only use it to check the pressure when I’m there too many supers and handyman changeing the pressure and damage the gauge..

There is a cushion of air in the pipe below the gauge. Unless you put a radiator vent on the gauge, the steam won't get to it, depending on length and size of pipe.

Thanks.  My gauge is off a t with the pressuretrol above the pigtail.  Ok to mount there ?  I do have a shut-off to the gauge.

Sounds good. With a valve below the gauge you're going to be fine

All of the low pressure gauges need to be protected with a pigtail or a tall enough nipple above the water line to create an air gap so that steam never reaches the gauge.
