Central air replacement

I was wondering if someone can help me on replacing old central air 1.5 ton to a 2. 0 ton. I was quoted $k for the replacement of new unit. Is that normal price?

Thank you

We don't talk price on this site at all. What might be normal in one place is anything but somewhere else.

    Why?

If you're going to increase the unit's capacity, you're going to have to increase the duct capacity!

I agree.  The old unit was small and wasn't cooling the house
