Mitsubishi Mini Split Drain connection
What is the best way to connect 3/4” pvc to the cassette drain? The Mitsubishi drain has a soft connector which doesn’t allow a pipe clamp. Does it just push inside a 5/8” vinyl hose without a pipe clamp?

Try clamping it to the outside of a ¾" fitting.

my mini split drain goes through a hole in the wall leading directly outside. The flexible drain tube then slides into the 3/4 pvc drain pipe leading down the outside wall. Why do you need to connect rigid pipe directly to pan?

Thanks all!
Hey Gyrfalcon, it's on an inside/interior wal and needs to be routed to a drain. Thanks.0 -

odd—-we did a few recently and regular PVC fit perfectly. I bought hose clamps to make a 'better fit' (not too small not too big).

They're sooooo ugly. I'd certainly go with ceiling cassettes or ducted models if I went that way.
