Fan & Limit Switch broken again

In a year I have had a second white Rodgers fan and limit switch break where the fan won't shutoff no matter how cold the furnace gets. I have a thermopride oil furnace. Limit switch shows 160 when burner running and never gets to high Limit.
Thoughts?

If the limit is set at 160 that is ok. If the furnace is running at 160 that is not ok. Why did the fan limit break that is unusual0

Both the times the fan part of the switch would stop working so the fan would never shut off. The burner limit works fine.John0

Is there anything else connected to the fan limit? I've seen switches do that when they are carrying too much current, or a large motor load.Br. Jamie, osb

What is the actual temperature rise?
Amperage on the switch?
CFM's on the blower?0 -
The auto / manual stick keeps popping loose so the fan won't shut off.0
