Can someone recommend a vent that would fit in this tight space, i would prefer not to disconnect the radiator if possible. I currently have a varivalve on this radiator and maid o mists on the other,

You just want to use a 90 degree angled vent rather than a straight vent like what it in your picture. 2" should be enough clearance between the wall and the threads including threading length for any right angled vent and a little less for a MoM.

What's wrong with the Vari-vent you have in there now? They're have their faults, but they are pretty tiny.

It looks like it's a 90 degree vent in the picture (to me). It must be tighter than it looks.

You could get an 1/8" elbow and coupling and a short and longer nipple and make an arrangement that would let you spin on a "straight vent" onto a "riser" that was rotated to in front of the radiator and then rotate it to vertical.
